12 years back, I started this project as a remedy to my own problems. Because, my schooling was in Marathi language, I faced lot of trouble coping with English in my higher-level study. But I took it as an opportunity to learn and invent methodologies to learn new language. It worked for me! So why not for others? I went on exploring possibilities and sharing with people. I don't know exactly how and when but now the whole world took notice of my small efforts. Now, there are millions of users for my products and services worldwide at individual and institution level. Most of these products and services are free for everyone. We are not profit making or commercial minded. अगदी सामान्य कुटुंबात जन्मलेल्या आणि छोट्याशा खेड्यात वाढलेल्या माझ्यासारख्या मुलाने दहावी पर्यंत शहरही पहिले नव्हते. एवढ्या छोट्याशा विश्वात वावरणारा मी ‘इंजिनियरिंग’ शिकायला लागलो आणि ‘इंग्लिश’चा मोठाच प्रश्न उभा ठाकला. इंग्लिश चांगले नसल्याने प्रचंड कुचंबणा व्हायला लागली. शिक्षण सोडून द्यावे की काय, असा विचार सुरु झाला. पण, ‘डिक्शनरी’ बाबत माहिती समजली अन् सकारात्मक विचार करून मी संधी घेण्याचे ठरविले. न समजणारे शब्द लिहून घेत डिक्शनरीत शोधू लागलो आणि अभ्यास चालू केला. ही जादू अशी काही चालली की, त्यावर्षी साठातली जी फक्त चार मुल पास झाली त्यात मी होतो आणि ते ही अव्वलस्थानी ! माझ्यासारखी समस्या लाखो लोकांना असणार, मग मला जे जमल त्याचा इतरानाही लाभ व्हावा म्हणून इंजीनियरिंग पूर्ण केल्यावर याच म्हणजे भाषेच्या क्षेत्रात काम करण्याचा निश्चय केला आणि त्याला तंत्रज्ञानाची जोड द्यायचे ठरवले. त्याची फलनिष्पत्ती म्हणजेच www.khandbahale.com
